Have you really looked at the plan that Pickens is proposing? It would require a massive investment in wind farms, PLUS a massive investment in transmission facilities to take the generated power to points where the power is needed. AND, from this massive investment, we could, at best, generate 20T of our needed power. Pickens may be a business man, but it sounds like he is being financed by the climate change ideologues who want us to have no energy to move forward.
and they keep dying from heart disease and cancer, I dont understand why? burgers taste so good.
Mystic Quest was the most brainless RPG I've ever played, period bank of america government credit card
Could be gimped? :P
I have to say that's a false statement too. As a Seventh-Day Adventist, I believe there are more creations made by God other than just us humans. This is where people will hate me: I think these are demons.
***** Quicktime, current bane of my existance replacing Realplayer which haunted me for years.
Yeah, what a dull article.
While lawmakers may have good intentions when passing a law like this, it still rubs me the wrong way. It would be better to convince people to use less plastic bags on its own merits. Passing a law does nothing to change to the mindset of people subject to that law. It just places more power in the hands of technocrats and makes citizens even more beholden to government planning. While it may result in less use of plastic bags, it does not inspire any change of heart in the citizenry, and it might even make them more resentful.
