Whenever I hear about electric cars, it feels like they're missing the point. They're spending so much time making the electric car, and this will stress power plants beyond belief. Either way, your car will use the same amount of energy, but pollute indirectly instead of directly, through the power grid. I think that electric car development needs to go hand-in-hand with widespread alternative energy adaption for the power grid.

This isn't the time for playing around with some lumber bi-product that is a poor supplement to our fuel needs at best. If it can't reasonably solve some of our energy needs it should be put on the backburner.

Does anyone else get this sickening feeling when looking at large groups of humans congregating like that? Like watching a colony of ants devour a carcass. It's unsettling how much we've actually overpopulated the planet.
Truthfully, even if everyone was aware of this, most American's wouldn't see the harm in their credit card transactions being sent to the IRS. Most would probably support the idea if it was somehow linked to stopping terrorists.
