Ron Paul associates with the republican party of barry goldwater and former libertarian minded conservatives. He has adamantly spoken out for the past 30 years as both his party and the democratic party march us down this path of bigger government. Ron Paul votes by himself in congressmen on a regular basis. While he may be a republican, he is not a republican in the folds of the contemporary republican party. He stands for what the party used to stand for, peace, limited government and sound economic policy.

McCain is a joke compared to Ron.... I really, truly wish Ron Paul was going against Obama instead of that sellout.

I hate to be the one to say it but people get way to emotional over animals. Just like human lives, you take it for all it's worth while you can knowing that it one day must end. With that being said children take these things harder because they likely haven't experienced losing something they love forever, but most kids with pets, like I did, have a dog/cat/whatever die during childhood and they still end up ok. I feel sorry for you kid but it'll be ok.
