You're going to need roughly 12-30 Kilowatts of Solar Panels (in full sun) depending on the size of the house and your power needs. You have to not only be able to use the power during the day, but you have to charge batteries up for night time. Adding an electric car would make this number increase a good bit as well. With nanosolar's efficiency being about 14%, you are only going to pull off roughly 150 Watts per square meter (full sun)... That's not a lot bub... Bro, I think you need to run the numbers before you talk. Efficiency is a big deal.
