Apple needs to piss off and allow background applications that serve as audio players. Maybe allow background apps period. No reason whatsoever that I should have to interrupt my radio session if I want to check my mail or texts.

This isn't going to help at all, unless you're in a situation where you can't look at the keyboard. Users don't typically type by running their fingers over a keypad--at least not if they want to type fast. An exception would be the free iPhone app named "WritingPad," which depends on running your finger over the keyboard and is exceptionally fast for user-input! But vibrations won't help with WritingPad either.

This at least makes more sense...the aliens could be from a parallel Earth traveling "back in time" in a titoresque fashion. That way, they're right here and you don't get into explaining how to travel millions of light years.
