Stix, thank you for your post. It was dead on. I am no fan of Micheal Savage, I listen to him merely for the entertainment factor (same reason I listen to that douche Hannity). Savage was clearly taken out of context here. He had a very nice conversation as a result with a representative of an Autism activist group, he cleared the air, explained how he was taken out of context, and everyone was happy. I agree with Savage on this topic, our kids are overdiagnosed and overmedicated. He said himself, the misdiagnosed are taking resources away from the kids that really need the help. He repeated over and over that he has no problem with "real autistic" kids getting the treatment they need.
