Has anyone considered the possibility that the same arguments you're making against overmedicating hypothetically misdiagnosed kids may be just as valid for autistic kids who were diagnosed accurately? Those psychotropic drugs aren't any less powerful or dangerous for an autistic child than they are for a non-autistic child, after all. There are better and safer ways of handling so-called 'problem behaviors' than heavy-duty neuroleptics- they just take actual effort.
