Mumar Qadafi, Libyan
Islamist dictator, says Europe must convert to Islam, and
will soon become Islamic
by James Mayfield (Chairman, European Heritage Library)
In this video, Libyan Islamist
dictator Mumar Qadafi discusses the controversial issue of
Islam and Muslim immigration in Europe. Here he speaks in
Tombouctou (Timbuktu), Mali, to an audience of Malinese Muslims
(a huge portion of immigrants to France), and claims that
Europe will soon become Muslim-majority due to Muslim immigration
and the decline of overall religiosity and nationalism borne
of liberalism. He warns Europe that Turkey's admission to
the European Union -- despite not being culturally, ethnically,
historically, or geographically European at all -- would be
a "trojan horse" for Muslims and al-Qa'ida into
Europe. With Turkey in the EU, it would instantly become the
second most populous nation in "Europe", and thus
a major player because of its size. Mumar Qadafi overthrew
the first king of Libya more than four decades ago, where
he created a fundamental Islamic state (al-Jamahiriya) that
has been surprisingly stable and successful due to its homogeneity
and resources (oil). Qadafi acknowledged playing a part in
the Muslims' bombing of the Lockerbie jet over Scotland, which
left over 200 people dead. Libya, despite being fundamentally
Islamic with no other religions legal, has been removed from
the US list of terror-sponsoring states recently.
